LAZARUS TAXA a band from the east side of the state needs drummer. If anybody is into them or even wants to just play in a good hardcore band check them out.   One of my first ever west MI shows was at this great venue Palmer hall. As I am sure it has been the same for many. I never really thought we would ever see the day when another punk event would happen at this hall again. I for one cant wait for this show. Also the flyer says NO TEXTING i really hope people get kicked out for texting that would rule!!!!

JUNE 5TH KIDS IN ANN ARBOR…. NO idea the the line up but MIND ERASER will also be with them. They are a killer fast as fuck band from Boston mass. Slang has been one of my favs for a long time so check out this video and many other clips on youtube. They also have a brand new LP you can find.

Killer hardcore show at the new space THE CAGE last night. This had all the best MI bands THE GREAT REVERSAL/DAMAGES/POSITIVE NOISE and BURDENS from philly. Each band played a great set. The venue was rad once things got started. I hope this will last for a little while at least. DAMAGES had the ep they just put out for sale. It comes in some pretty cool packaging. It looks like a composition notebook and you open it to see all the lyrics and info for the band. Really cool job.  Email damagesmi@gmail.com for a copy or just go see them live they rule. Last night a great turnout and tons of positive energy. Something I dont see alot in the this area. Its nice to see hardcore being played in west MI.
